Deep Thought · Discovery Delay, Eliminated
2027Every tool waits to be asked.
Deep Thought does not wait.
Every other product in Minimal's suite responds to intent. Auto API serves what you expose. Insights answers what you ask. Forge delivers what your customers request. Deep Thought is different. It watches. It listens. And it speaks first.
The problem
Every analytics system answers what you ask. Nobody asks what you missed.
Your BI tool answers the questions your team knows to ask. Your dashboards surface the metrics your team chose to track. Your alerts fire on the thresholds your team thought to set.
The insight that would have changed a product decision sits untouched in a database because no one knew to look for it. The signal that preceded a churn event was there — in the data — before the churn happened. Nobody asked the right question because nobody knew the right question existed.
This is the closed loop problem. Analytics is only as good as the questions it is asked. Deep Thought opens the loop.
The arc
From zero input to zero questions.
Auto API
Zero code requiredYou define the schema. The API exists. No input needed beyond connection.
Insights
One question requiredYou ask in plain English. The dashboard exists. One input — your intent.
Deep Thought
Zero questions requiredYou connect the database. Deep Thought watches. Signals surface — without you asking.
Each step in this arc removes another layer of human requirement. Deep Thought is the end of the arc: the governed data layer that produces intelligence without waiting for instruction.
What it does
Anomalies. Correlations. Patterns. Delivered.
Continuous observation
Deep Thought runs on a schedule against your production data. Always watching. Never sleeping.
Signal discovery
Anomalies that deviate from baseline. Correlations between tables you did not connect. Patterns that precede known events.
Governed delivery
Every signal is delivered as a governed, ready-to-use Insight — the same runtime, the same access control, the same audit trail.
No question required
You do not need to know what to ask for. Deep Thought surfaces what matters. You decide what to do with it.
The inversion
The answer to the question you did not know you had.
In Douglas Adams' universe, Deep Thought computed the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. The problem was that nobody knew what the Question was.
Minimal's Deep Thought inverts this. We know what the questions are — the ones your data can answer. We do not know which ones matter to you today. Deep Thought watches the data, identifies which questions it is currently answering in interesting ways, and brings those answers to you — before you thought to ask.
